Very low water pressure

Has Friendly, respected staff and excellent not expensive Motel. Breakfast was supposed to be unit 9am but it was there for up to 12noon and was excellent international breakfast. I would stay in this hotel next time defiantly. Location is with walking distance about 2miles to Hollywood famous and Kodak. Has a good pool. Beast regards Ibrahim

Well maintained. Helpful staff. Our room had a lot of features i.e. cable TV, a fridge, microwave, a table and a chair. The bed was big and comfy. Free car parking was a bonus and the location is great, a short walk away from the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also they provide wireless internet (not the fastest but understandable) and breakfast (pretty basic like hot waffles, mini muffins, coffee and rather suspect orange juice) both free of charge. There was also a public swimming pool outside but we didn't dare use it as it was January and thus quite chilly.

There was a weird stench coming from the rooms which was a bit difficult to get rid of and eventually we resigned to getting used to the smell. Thin walls and windows mean noisy neighbours could spell trouble. A lot of the facilities are a bit dated and worn.

Only 10 min walk to Hollywood with metro and bus services. Plenty of eating and dining nearby with burger king, tends and a chicken restaurant (where brad pitt was first spotted wearing a chicken suit drumming up business apparently). Also a large supermarket across road and down a block. Breakfast is simple but we had seconds and coffee was available all day. Swimming pool was clean and central to all rooms with one end very deep at 3 metres. Re the reports of bedbugs... our group had three rooms and we noticed nothing but clean well appointed rooms as did all the guests we spoke to during our stay. Motel manager organised discount tours for us and kept our bags free of charge on last day after checkout as we had a late flight. Very helpful.

The location is fantastic and the price was great. Looks like a cliche strip motel and has probably been seedy in its lifetime, but felt safe and friendly for us (with 3 teenagers with us).

The staff could be slightly difficult to communicate with (the combination of noisy traffic, a security glass window and a language gap made for "Cone of Silence"-worthy exchanges. But once these issues were surmounted, staff were friendly and quick to help.

I liked the location and the colors of it.

I think that the breakfast period should not end at 9 A.M. Travelers like to rest in in the mornings, right? They should extend cut-off till 11, I think. Also, it would be nice to have some instructions for using both TV remotes. They serve different functions in different hotels, btw.

In room paper cups to drink tea/coffe from. Have been travelling (in Australia) since 1965 and have never had paper cups rather than china cups even at lowest budget motels which all supply 300ml milk/cream for those that do not drink coffee/tea black. We arrived without transportation and walked everywhere because no one seemed to know the bus routes to travel to tourist areas including The Grove/Farmers Market where we walked to from the SAHARAN. Howver we would stay with you again--now that we "know our way around" Lack of shelving in bathroom to place toiletries.

The pool location was unfortuneate The reception staff were unpleasant and were always rushed and dismissive. I asked for a ground floor room only to be told that I looked like I would be fine taking my luggage up the stairs and I am a pensioner.

Very close to all the sights in Hollywood!

My first impression of the motel was that it was run down but this was proven to be incorrect.The room was clean toilet and shower facilities were very good. The location for shops was also very good with all facilities that you might require such as pharmacy,supermarket, drycleaning. 10 minute walk and you are on the main strip never encountered any problems walking to or from the motel to the strip. For value for money it was a good deal and would stay there again
